Marsèll presents ULTRASELECTION, an exhibition that reinterprets Murano glass through a series of objects by 6:AM, a brand operating at the intersection of research, design, and traditional craft. Marsèll and 6:AM share much in common: both are rooted in the Venetian territory yet known globally, and their work begins with attentive engagement with materials and a deep appreciation for artisanal know-how. The result is a series of design pieces that transcend trends and redefine what contemporary means. The encounter between the two brands transforms the store on Via della Spiga in Milan into a terrain for experimentation, where leather and glass, design and architecture, past and future come together organically. ULTRASELECTION is part of Spazio, a series of site-specific interventions by artists, designers, and curators created to transform the flagship store on Via della Spiga, Milan, into a platform for cultural exchange and shared expression.
For ULTRASELECTION, 6:AM presents ULTRAS, a new collection of glass light fixtures that, like goblets spilling light, cast a chromatic glow all around. Rendered in three color combinations — yellow and red, blue and light blue, and blue and red—the collection also includes a line of vases and draws inspiration from Italian football fans culture. The installation also features other pieces from the 6:AM repertoire. The 1/1/1 Side Table is born from recycled molds taken from the glass hot shops: each imprint produces a one-of-a-kind topography of folds and ripples, whilst a veil of Carrara marble powder gives the glass a mineral tactility. The NM21 Table, on the other hand, is a table in aluminum and Murano glass created in collaboration with the Milanese design firm NM3. Alongside these interventions, the Sistema and Quadrato collections help establish a rhythm of contrasts and harmonies, sparking a dynamic dialogue between the objects’ design and the architecture of the space.

6:AM is a Milan-based brand with roots in Murano, embodying the early dedication of artisans to glassmaking. Founded in 2018 by Edoardo Pandolfo and Francesco Palù, the brand redefines Venetian glass by integrating tradition with contemporary aesthetics. 6:AM distinguishes itself for its innovation, craftsmanship, and high-quality designs, while also taking on complex and ambitious bespoke projects that meet the expectations of the most discerning creatives and companies in the design and architecture industries.
