KING KONG Magazine celebrates its latest issue with an exhibition of mythical proportions, intended to amaze and thrill viewers. Contributors were asked either to reinterpret old myths and legends or to create new ones, taking inspiration from the world around us, in order to understand what these can mean today. The exhibition, which features larger-than-life figures, photographs, and hangings, mixes Berlin’s energy and London’s eccentricity within a functionalist Milanese setting. These cities have always formed a magic triangle of inspiration for KING KONG, whose eyes and mind travel much further afield to catch different energies from across the world. The artists featured in Myth and Legend are Nik Kosmas, Francesca Facciola, Keith Boadwee, Göksu Kunak, Gabriel Massan, HYDRA, Selin Davasse, BORA, Pretty Puke, Carole Méthot & Fatine Violette Sabiri, Matt Grubb, Kenyon Anderson, Shadrinksy, Rozy and Zoé Chauvet, Tillmann Lauterbach, Cool 3D World, Body Snatchers, Sasha Chaika, Unax LaFuente, Charlton Diaz, Éamonn Freel, Mclalan, Koko, Oasis of Hate, Lord of Graphix, Gian X Marco, and Davide Stucchi.
KING KONG is a dynamic platform that showcases ground-breaking artists across art, fashion, film, music, and literature. Led by Ali Kepenek and Mikel Benhaim, KING KONG supports multidisciplinary expression and innovation, demonstrating art’s ability to respond to ideas and events that shape our contemporary experience. It also acts as a creative agency offering a think-tank creativity and production service.
