A collaboration driven by the same motion: the research for an avant-garde specific culture, that is what continues driving Marsèll’s support for art, design and architecture. The project takes place at two of Marsèll’s points of reference in the city of Milan simultaneously: DRY GARDEN & WET MOVABLES, a solo exhibition on view at via Paullo’s venue, and LEAF PARAVENT, a site-specific artwork showcased at Marsèll Milano Spiga flagship store.
With AAS:object:project, the artistic duo Gonzalez Haase immerses visitors in a world where artistry meets functionality, creating spaces characterised by light, form, and diverse materials. DRY GARDEN & WET MOVABLES solo exhibition surely has a strong meaning: reaction. The project reacts to a given space—and people are also called upon to respond and interact with the surroundings. All the objects presented here are in a perfect fusion of scenography, architecture, and motion and extend to the extreme in modular sequences. Benches, plants, towers, and a special re-edition of the emblematic LOLA light are surrounded by an infinity of light blue paper confetti that floats in the surroundings.
Pretty much like the LEAF PARAVENT, a site-specific artwork showcased inside the gallery at Marsèll Milano Spiga—the brand’s flagship store. Once again, reaction is central. The paravent is a special object, modular to architectural scale and entirely covered in Marsèll finest leather. The pieces of the object can be assembled into a monumental circle, and the structure is extremely light, allowing it to be configured with ease in different responses to the space that may never be repeated.
